On February 25, PetroGM held an open Day. We hosted guests - students of the Geological and Geophysical Faculty of NSU, participants of the SPE section. GGF is a specialized and native faculty for our company, most of its employees are graduates.

In the official part, the General Director of the company, Roman Vladimirovich Molodtsov, made a welcoming speech. After that, the chief engineer of the company Nikolay Yuryevich Smirnov told about the history of oil and gas geomechanics and its development in the world and in Russia, about his formation in the profession. Getting first–hand information and communicating with a world-class expert is an invaluable experience.

We also talked about the prospects of working in the industry and our company. The company is interested in talented young specialists and is ready to offer an interesting job in the specialty, with the opportunity to continue their studies and engage in scientific activities. It all ended with an informal conversation over a cup of tea. The guys were interested to learn about the practical aspects of applying the acquired knowledge, employment opportunities. To communicate with young specialists who have recently been students, have mastered the profession and are working successfully.

We plan to hold similar events in the future.
