From October 23 to October 25, 2024, a production and technical seminar "Current challenges in the development of assets of the northern territories" was held in Kogalym.

Two reports were submitted by PetroGM.

The report is based on the work on optimizing drilling and development of the Achimov deposits based on an integrated geological and geomechanical model that takes into account the depletion of the reservoir during production, 4D modeling. The main thesis of the report is the creation and up-to-date maintenance of a comprehensive digital model of the deposit allows you to accumulate the most valuable information about the deposit. And also use the model as a basis for justifying and making both strategic and tactical decisions.

The second report on the know-how of the company in the field of drilling support:
"Online forecast of a safe drilling window without LWD devices as a tool to prevent geological complications and reduce well construction costs"

I would like to note the great interest in geomechanics on the part of specialists from oil companies in various fields: exploration, development, drilling. There is a tendency for the increasing use of geomechanics in the industry and the complexity of projects.
